The Testing Academy recently held its Annual Alumni re-union during which Mr Dayo Olomu was invited to participate as a guest speaker. We needed someone to motivate delegates (both past and present), some of whom needed just that little "kick start" to get back on track. Being someone who had broken free of the past and who against all odds had hoisted himself from one height of accomplishment to the next, Dayo seemed the perfect choice. When I met Dayo Olomu as a speaker on Goal Achieving Strategies at a Property Training Seminar, I knew this was the man that would be my mentor. I have followed his life very closely and the influence he has had on me as a mentee is astounding. At the end of 2006 as I prepared for the New Year, I read every article on his website. I realised that he recommended over 40 great books. I bought over 40 of the books that same week. I made a vow to God that I will read a book a week. I read 6 books in Jan, 5 in Feb, 4 in March, 3 in April and I enjoy it. I am currently mastering my time management skills using some of the tools Dayo passed on to me.
